Aizawl City Traffic Police to seize vehicles parked on road side
Aizawl, April 16 (Zonet News) – Aizawl City Traffic Police is to seize vehicles parked on the road side with effect from the 21st night of this month.
Talking to our Corr. who met him in his office today, the Traffic SP, Mr. Lalbiakzama said, the vehicle owners who parked their vehicles on the road sides have been given a notice earlier and they are requested to vacate the road side within 30 days.
He also said that the violators of the order are liable to be punished by imposing a fine up to 600 rupees under Section 8 and 9 of the Mizoram (Regulation & Control of Vehicles Parking) Rules 2000 and Section 177 and 179 of the Motor Vehicle Act 1988.
