American Idol 7 winner is David Cook, Archuleta fans upset
A 25-year old from Blue Springs, Missouri – David Cook, a bearded rocker with a raspy voice has won an American Idol 7 surprising everyone including Simon Cowell.
David cook garnered 56% of 96 million votes, to 44% for 17 year old prodigy David Archuleta. He was declared a winner at 7,000-seater Nokia Theater in downtown Los Angeles in California on Wednesday night (PST/PDT).
