Do not involve in Politics, Sangliana tells Mizo students
AIZAWL, March 27 (Zonet) – The Vice Chairman of National Commission for Minorities, Mr. HT Sangliana visited MZP and MSU offices yesterday. In an interaction, the Vice Chairman advised the students not to involve themselves in politics and work for welfare and betterment of the students.
The student leaders expressed desired for conversion of the quota reserved for Other Backward Classes into the share of Scheduled Tribes as there are no Other Backward Classes in Mizoram.
The discussion covered post matric scholarship for tribal students, student loan from the banks and study tour and excursion for the students outside the state.
