Mara Young Association spreads fire preventation awareness
Mara Thyutlia Py* (MTP) and Environment and Forest Department of Mara Autonomous District Council (MADC) are jointly spearheading District wide campaign for prevention of forest fire during the present dry season.
The campaign was kicked off last Wednesday evening by holding public meetings in Theiva, Maubawk (L), Maubawk (Ch) and Zeropoint and the campaign continues.
Our Saiha Corr. reported that the MTP leaders and officials of Environment and Forest Department of MADC are to tour to rural areas next week to cover Romibawk, Phalhrang, Riasikah, Tuisumpui and Tuipuiferi villages.
