Mizoram has 29,174 newborn babies in 2009
Aizawl, April 13 (Zonet news) – There are 29 thousand 174 newborn babies in 2009.
According to the record of Economics and Statistics Department, there was also 6001 death registered by the Department during the year.
Of these, Aizawl District recorded maximum number of birth which was 10 thousand, 29 followed by Champhai District with 6890. Mamit District recorded the least number with 1096 new births.
The Department also asked the parents to register all the new born babies with the nearest birth and death registrar within 21 days.
