Mizoram news in English, Websites
Though Mizoam is one of the States in India with over one million population, there is no dedicated English news website online for now. Perhaps, the reason is that Mizos prefer to read news in their own language.
Unlike Nagaland and Manipur, Mizoram is fairly a homogeneous society. About 90 percent of the population can read and write Mizo language, written in Duhlian/Lusei dialect. And therefore, the English audience are far too less to be counted and to cater with English news.
Of course, there are few newspapers like Newslink and The Highlanders, but they do not have an online presence for now.
Only Zonet Today is the only regular updater of Mizoram News in English on the internet. Zonet is a cable television channel based in Aizawl Mizoram.
