MNF alleges corruption in Mara District Council
Aizawl/Saiha, April 11 (ZONET): Saiha District MNF President, Mr. H.C. Lalmalsawma Zasai alleged that the present Mara Autonomous District Council headed by the Congress party leader Mr. S. Khipo is making excess payment for construction of Mara House in Aizawl.

Talking to reporters in MNF office, Saiha today, the District MNF President said, the balance amount yet to be paid to the contractor as recorded by the last District Council headed by Mr. N. Viakhu was 40 lakh rupees while payment made by the present District Council for clearance of the balance was 130 lakh rupees.
He also demanded payment of compensation or ex-gratia to the next of kins of 9 persons killed on 25th March because of electrocution. Source: ZONET
