D.V. Sadananda Gowda Biography
Shri D.V. Sadananda Gowda is the new Chief Minister of Karnataka. He was elected by BJP on August 3, 2011 to replace Shri B.S. Yuddyurappa. He was a Member of Parliament (MP) from Udupi Chikmagulur constituency before he was elected as the CM.

District General Secretary of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad(ABVP). An active member of ABVP since youth.

True democracy is demonstrated by the BJP by implementing secret ballot for CM selection. The legislators at least had opportunity to express their choice without fear. Unlike the Congress culture of 10 janapath hand picking someone and all legislators nodding their head. Good that Mr. Sadananda Gowda has won. It is Ananth Kumar who conspired the rebellion lead by Reddy’s projecting Shettar in Oct 2009. Ananth Kumar had been playing mischief with Yeddy all these years. Leaders like Ananth Kumar who play dirty tricks from behind the scene are worst than the ‘corrupt’ Yeddy.
