			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>(Zonet, Nov. 11) &#8211; 20 Congress Party candidates of the <a href="http://samaw.com/people-of-maraland-to-hold-village-council-elections/1791" target="_blank">Village Councils elections</a> under Mara Autonomous District Council were declared elected unopposed today. <img title="More..." src="http://samaw.com/wp-includes/js/tinymce/plugins/wordpress/img/trans.gif" alt="" /><span id="more-234"></span></p>
<p>The Local Administration Officer of MADC, Mr. P. Sama told our Corr. that the candidates elected unopposed are from 5 villages such as Tuisih, New Saiha West, Amepi, New Serkawr and Tisopi Old. Meanwhile the stage has been set for polling tomorrow in the remaining 72 Village Councils which will begin from 7 a.m and close at 4 in the afternoon.</p>
<p>The Government has also declared the polling day as a closed holiday in the entire Saiha District to enable all the 33696 voters to exercise their franchise. No untoward incident is reported from any corner so far. As already stated, the Returning Office in each polling station are to take up counting just after the close of the polling and the result will be announced by them.</p>
